JNDC completes work on composite repair patch
When a composite component is repaired on an aircraft structure there are strict requirements to control the temperature of the resin as it cools. JNDC have come up with a concept and a prototype for a portable liquid heated bladder system for the repair or manufacture of composite and or adhesive components for aerospace applications. The system will be ideally suited to patch repairs near to components that are sensitive to electromagnetic interference or field repairs where electrical supply is scarce. The units will come with their own generators, powered by a range of fuels from diesel to aviation fuel.
