Design of Composite Patch Repair System
A need was identified for a composite patch repair system that controls the curing temperature of aerospace resins. The system is still in development but promises to offer the military and commercial aerospace industry the ability to undertake composite patch repairs "in the field" without requiring any power source.

Research into Human Factors
JNDC is managing a joint project with Kingston University researching access into confined compartments in aircraft structures. The research will focus on identifying the ideal lighting level to increase the quality of work, reduce risk of user error due to poor lighting.
