Engineers Having Fun - Check This Out

The engineers have been playing with a new update on edrawings called augmented reality that is available on the iPad / iPhone etc through an app.

It's simple to get started and once a marker is printed out the design comes to life in a 3D model.  You can walk around and view the design at different angles as well as 'nearly touch' the model, as in the photo.

We thought it was a bit of a gimmick but never the less pretty cool and something new to get excited about.  Showing clients their designs through this new interactive app really brings our designs alive and also helps them understand the design in much more detail.

The app is only a couple of pounds on the app store.  Well recommended!  Also you can justify work buying you an iPad!
